LinkedIn Kudos- Powerful App To Help You Connect With More People

A LITTLE RECOGNITION CAN GO A LONG WAY

It’s a fact, 7 out of 10 employees who receive recognition and appreciation for the work they do state that they are happier with their jobs.

And, while it might not be surprising that people who are recognized for their contribution at work are more satisfied, did you know that being appreciated also leads to higher levels of creativity and productivity, both of which have a direct impact on a business’ bottom-line?

Saying thank you and recognizing others for their great work is something we need to see happening more frequently on LinkedIn, so LinkedIn has made it really easy for you to a give shout-out to those who make a difference at your business or place of employment.

INTRODUCING LINKEDIN KUDOS

LinkedIn Kudos is the newest kind of social proof on LinkedIn. It was introduced in June 2018 and has proven itself to be a very popular tool for business owners and leaders.

LinkedIn members who are connected to one another can give kudos to each other.

Kudos comes from the Greek and means acclaim or praise for exceptional achievement. On LinkedIn, it’s like giving a virtual high-five to someone for their great achievement or contribution.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING LINKEDIN KUDOS?

As the receiver of Kudos, you should expect more profile visitors and connection requests, because the Kudos that you receive is not only visible to you, but to all the connections of the person who gave you Kudos.

By praising you for your exceptional achievement that person is essentially “promoting” you within their network, making everyone aware of just how awesome you are.

As the person who gives Kudos, you are positioning yourself as a true leader and team player because acknowledging other’s efforts is a skill that shows great servant leadership.

10 KINDS OF KUDOS

There are 10 kinds of Kudos on LinkedIn, each with its own colorful graphic that shows the type of Kudos:

  • Thank You
  • Going Above and Beyond
  • Inspirational Leader
  • Team Player
  • Great Job
  • Making Work Fun
  • Amazing Mentor
  • Outside the Box Thinker
