Filling In The Employment Gaps
I get asked the question “What can I do to show that I’m still using my skills even though I’m unemployed?”.
Great question. If you are using LinkedIn to look for employment (which if you are not you should start as LinkedIn is where 98% of the hiring managers go to look for their next hire) it’s key to make sure that your most current place of employment doesn’t have an end date.
So what do you do in the case where you got to let go from a job and you are no longer working and now on unemployment status?
